The Ticket Agent is a critical position on our team and responsible for providing a friendly, professional and courteous experience to all Atlantic Aviation customers, suppliers and employees. This position will report to the Customer Service Manager and is located in Hyannis, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard, MA.

Responsibilities

Key duties include:
  • Performs all customer service handling, such as helping customers in person with checking in, helping with flight itinerary, lightly cleaning aircraft, and to helping board the aircraft, etc.
  • Processes all transactions in our online system; ensures that all documentation, receipts, transactions, accounting records, etc. are accurately completed and processed in a timely manner.
  • Complies with all current safety regulations, administrative procedures, methods, practices and company standard operation procedures (SOP).
  • Ensures that all documentation, receipts, transactions, accounting records, etc. are accurately completed, processed and forwarded to the appropriate people.

Skills & Qualifications

Qualified candidates will:

  • Be highly organized, motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Be comfortable working on a small, but mighty team, and pitch in wherever needed.
  • Be passionate about going the extra mile to service our customers.
  • Have previous experience in customer service or hospitality (strongly preferred, but not required).
  • Be comfortable and physically able to work in an environment with frequent walking, stretching, bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, grasping, and climbing.
  • Be physically able to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis up to 50 lbs.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (strongly preferred, but not required).
  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Possess and maintain valid state drivers’ license.
  • Be comfortable working with new technology and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Pass a TSA background check
  • Accept a preemployment substance use screening
Work Schedule:

  • This will be a seasonal position from May – October, with full time and part time positions available.
