Repair and maintenance of fuel trucks, trailers, automobiles, pumping systems and general building maintenance.

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all company and UPS vehicles and equipment.

Maintains good housekeeping practices for cleanliness, neatness, and compliance
Complies with all current safety regulations, administrative procedures, methods, practices, and company standard operation procedures (SOP).
Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic test.
Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
Completes machine shop operations, adjusting and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
Performs preventive maintenance and general repair on UPS vehicles; orders repair parts as needed, completes, and submits all necessary paperwork weekly for billing.
Responsible for general maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment.
Immediately relay all safety issues to the Maintenance Supervisor/General Manager.

Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
Must be organized, detail oriented, motivated, and able to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Prior Heavy maintenance background preferred.
Possess and maintain a minimum of a class B CDL license, with Tanker, Hazmat, Airbrakes indorsement.
High school diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
