Provide regional safety/risk support to Fixed Base Operations by implementing established health & safety as well as risk management policies and procedures. Responsibilities include safety audits utilizing the Company audit tracking system which are conducted via on-site visits and CCTV. Additional responsibilities include safety/loss control training, and incident management encompassing initial investigation, corrective action and follow up. Position ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA and State/Federal/County regulation guidelines.

Responsibilities
General Duties
- Providing exceptional customer service to the employees and managers of Atlantic.
- Constantly representing Atlantic in a positive and professional manner.
- Complying with all corporate policies and procedures.
- Interacting with other Atlantic employees, customers, vendors and managers in a courteous, approachable, professional and genuine demeanor.
- Communicating work progress and significant issues to the Director of Risk & Safety.
- Administers various risk management/safety plans and procedures for region; works directly with Regional Managers, General Managers, and Safety/Training Coordinators to assist them in their responsibilities on risk management matters.
- Assists managers and employees with interpreting and complying with policies and applicable State law.
- Implementing safety and loss control programs to minimize the financial and operational impact resulting from accidental losses and claims against the company.
- Investigates every employee injury working closely with the Workers Compensation Manager and local Safety & Training Managers to ensure questionable or lost time claims are immediately addressed.
- Training of designated Safety & Training Managers (new and continued development).
- Conduct safety audits and developed loss control action plans for locations.
- Monitor the process for timely reporting of all losses via the company policies and procedures.
- Assist Workers Compensation Manager and Claims Supervisor/Manager on file materials (via Claims System), including investigations as to cause, medical reports, litigation activity and status of settlements.
- Assist FBO locations in maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Willingness to attend appropriate educational seminars with the intention of gaining practical and current risk management & safety knowledge.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Risk & Safety.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- 5 – 8 Years of Risk Management or Safety experience.
- Operation experience preferred but not required.
- General knowledge of the principles and practices of Risk Management administration.
- Knowledge of sound techniques in all aspects of Risk Management.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff and employees.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. ▪ Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills.
- Technical software skills and experience: Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel up to 50%
