The primary function of a Lead Ramp Agent is to meet, greet and direct customers and visitors with a professional, positive attitude.  This position will assist with guiding the Ramp Agents assigned to the shift.

General Duties:
  • Working knowledge of FBO operations, customer service principles and the Atlantic Aviation service philosophy.
  • Comply with all airport authority rules and regulations including AOA operations and airport security requirements.
  • Participate in continuous training including NATA programs and company designed curriculum.
  • Maintain high level of safety and customer service.
  • Application of the “Atlantic Attitude” at all times.
Essential duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Help maintain site practices and procedures that contribute to a safe, positive work environment.
  • Coordinate and direct the activities of other Ramp Agents assigned to his/her shift.
  • Advise and report personnel issues to Line Manager/Operations Manager.
  • Meet, greet and direct customers and visitors with red carpet.
  • Assist line service in marshalling aircraft in and out (wing walking).
  • Provide transportation to and from aircraft and FBO.
  • Provide aircraft with coffee, ice and other needs as requested by the client.
  • Provide general cleaning services for aircraft including trash removal and vacuuming.
  • Wash and inventory dishes for aircraft.
  • Remove, inventory and return linens after cleaning to outgoing aircraft by request.
  • Golf cart upkeep: wash, wipe, plug in, and return keys.
  • Clean and organize ramp, hangars and facilities keeping all free of debris and clutter.
  • Acceptance and control checks of fuel received into site operated fuel storage system(s).
  • Assist flight crews and passengers by providing various services they may desire and shall aid in planning and deplaning, baggage and cargo.
  • Operate vehicular and ground radio equipment.
  • Perform various lawncare and janitorial services as requested.
  • Any additional duties that may be specific or unique to your location assigned by Management.

Skills & Qualifications

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school graduation.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • One (1) year of ramp agent experience with the company.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Good organizational and customer service skills required.
  • Must maintain a valid state driver’s license and meet company’s insurability requirements.
  • Fuel handling experience desired.
  • Ability to comprehend and perform basic math calculations with minimal errors.
  • Flexible work schedule may include working overtime, nights, on weekends, holidays, and be on call.
