The Business Intelligence Developer will develop customized solutions for the company, using Microsoft technology. The Business Intelligence Developer will work with other employees from corporate departments and operations to define, design and deliver needed applications. This position may work independently or with a team to deliver such application solutions. The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for following the Bl coding standards agreed upon by the department. The Business Intelligence Developer will have a solid foundation in data migration packages using Microsoft tools and understand how to create and deploy such solutions. Business Intelligence Developer will have experience with multi-dimensional databases (no MDX experience needed). Must have solid communication skills needed to work with both IT and non-IT employees.

Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain professional work relationships with operational leaders and co-workers.
  • Always use sound judgment to ensure a safe and accident-free work environment.
  • Compliance with all Company policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of operational procedures and policies. Maintenance of skills may require periodic site visits to work with customer base.

  • Works and communicates with internal and external clients and customers to meet their needs in a cooperative manner.
  • Displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.
  • C# development experience
  • Strong SQL development experience (MS SQL Server)
  • Expert level development experience with data tools (SSIS, ADF, etc)
  • Expert level development experience with Reporting (SSRS, Power BI, etc)
  • ASP.Net development experience
  • Experience with Agile project delivery (create user stories)
  • Proven ability to deliver BI solutions.
  • Design, document, communicate and implement data flow and ERD changes required for solution.
  • Work with both programming group and back-office group to deliver solutions.
  • Willingness to learn other technologies as the business need arises.
  • Demonstrate responsible behavior and attention to detail.
  • Analyze systems or programming problems and develop satisfactory solutions.
  • Determines the symptoms/causes of process problems involved in information processing systems and resolves using appropriate tools.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited college or university and experience equal to four years of full-time work installing/maintaining database management systems and developing business application processes or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum high school graduation
  • 4 + years of programing experience including use of integration and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good organizational skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with ability to multi-task.
  • A flexible work schedule may include working overtime, nights, on weekends, holidays, and be on call.
